Last Day

So our final morning had arrived. Our flight from St Denis airport wasn't until 9pm so we made the most of the day. We had decided that rather than going the short route, over the mountains, we would go along the west coast & around the north of the island meaning we will have travelled around the coast. After packing up & bidding farwell to our hosts we headed off.

We stopped off at different beaches to the last time, such as St Gilles (where we sat eating icecream watching the crazy surfers).



As we headed north the rain clouds started to gather & we had one of our few showers of rain driving through St Denis. By the time we had arrived at the airport the skies had cleared again & it was time to say goodbye for now to Tim's tropical island....
